Your own app in the App Store and Google Play
On request alongside your website: an iPhone and Android ordering app under your restaurant's name, logo and colors, published under your own developer accounts. Selflane builds and submits it; you open the store accounts and supply your copy.
At a glance
- Where to find it
- back-office › Onboarding questions › What do you want to run on Selflane? › Mobile app built for you
- consumer-site › Your website › "Get the app" bar
- Availability
- Built and published by Selflane on request; the restaurant owns the Apple and Google developer accounts.
Your app is your restaurant's own ordering app, built by Selflane from the same menu, prices and settings as your Selflane online ordering. Guests can browse your menu, order pickup or delivery, see their past orders and get order updates as notifications.
What's included
- An iPhone app and an Android app with your restaurant name, app icon, splash screen and brand color.
- Selflane builds the app, fills in the store listings and submits them for review.
- Once it is live, your website shows a "Get the app" bar that sends phone visitors to the right store.
What you provide
- An Apple Developer account and a Google Play developer account in your business's name. You create them with your rep, pay Apple's and Google's own fees with your card (Apple charges $99 a year, Google Play $25 once), and keep your phone handy for two-factor codes. An organization account needs a D-U-N-S number, which can take one to two weeks to get.
- Access for Selflane to your App Store Connect account, so we can build and submit the app.
- Your app name and a short "about us" description.
Good to know
- It is offered on request, together with your Selflane website. Ask your rep.
- Apple and Google review every app. Review can take a few days and may ask for changes.
- Menu and price changes reach the app automatically; you don't republish it.
