Try it before you sign
Your Selflane rep or sales partner can build a test store at your real address with your menu and settings. It stays off every public listing, and when you sign it becomes your real store — same link, menu and POS setup, nothing to redo.

Create your business
Search for your business or its street address on Google and the name, address, phone, website, hours, place type and price level fill in where Google has them. Three steps — find, confirm, hours — then the business is created.
Tell us what you want to run
Right after you create a business, a few short questions — how you serve or sell, what you want to run on Selflane, and roughly how big you are — tell us which setup steps apply to you and what to follow up on.
How it works
- A Selflane rep or an active sales partner creates the business with Create as a test business turned on. Owners cannot create test businesses themselves.
- A test business is hidden from diners and from every public listing, and kitchen display and kiosk work on it without a subscription, so the demo can show the full setup.
- There is one record per address: the test store is your future store. If you try to sign up the same business yourself, Selflane points you to the existing listing instead of creating a second one.
- When you sign, Selflane switches the store from test to a normal (not yet live) store. Your store link, menu and POS configuration stay as they were. Online ordering is then turned on the usual way, after payments are set up.
- You sign in with your own account and request access to the store; the rep who built it holds owner access and approves you.
Test stores skip the onboarding questions; they are asked once the store is converted.
