How to accept payments that require PIN

Transactions that require PIN entry will automatically prompt a PIN entry screen when using Tap to Pay on iPhone.

For customers needing visual or other assistance, accessibility options are built into Tap to Pay on iPhone to help them securely enter their PIN information. Simply select `Accessibility Options` on the PIN screen.

Tap to Pay on iPhone requires a supported payment app and the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install. Some contactless cards may not be accepted by your payment app. Transaction limits may apply. The contactless symbol is a trademark owned by and used with permission from EMVCo, LLC. Which iPhone models are supported?

Tap to Pay on iPhone is supported on iPhone XS and later models on iOS 16 and above. It is highly recommended to upgrade to iOS 18 for the best experience.

Does Tap to Pay work with iPad?

No, Tap to Pay is only supported on iPhone. It is not supported on iPad.

Can I still use my credit card machine?

Yes, you can still use your credit card machine. Tap to Pay is a complementary feature to your credit card machine. You can add Stripe Reader M2 or WisePad to your POS system have more payment options.
