Ingredients and recipes
Keep a list of ingredients with a unit and price, and attach recipe quantities to dishes so you can see how much of each ingredient your sales used. This tracks usage, not stock counts.

- back-office › Settings › Menu › Ingredients
- back-office › Settings › Menu › Menus
- Each ingredient: name, ID, unit of measure and price.
- On a dish, Edit Recipe adds ingredients with quantities.
- The Item Sales Report (Performance › Sales › Stats) lists each ingredient's usage and unit price for the period; it doesn't total cost per dish.
- No on-hand stock levels, purchase orders or low-stock alerts — see the inventory entry.
