What's included
Tip share
Set rules for how card tips are shared among roles — tip-outs or a tip pool — and see the penny-level split per day. It's a report; no money is moved.
POS payment methods
Choose which payment types the POS accepts — card, external card terminal, check, gift certificate, QR pay at the table and your own custom methods — and set payment safeguards.
- Auto gratuity: a percentage once a party reaches a set number of guests; optionally calculated on the total including tax.
- Printed tip suggestions in three tiers on the receipt, compact or informative (named tiers) style.
- Customer-facing tip screen, on a second device running the Selflane POS app as the front display (Front Facing System, included from the Essential plan): your own percentage choices and a default tip rate; below a check-size threshold it offers $1, $2 and $3 instead.
- Separate server and kitchen tip with a sharing rate.
