Seating and table service
The Seating tab shows your floor plan with each table's status, plus a list of seated parties, reservations, online bookings and the waitlist, so hosts and servers can seat guests and open their orders from one place.

What's included
Floor plan and tables
Lay out your dining rooms: add tables with seat counts, drag them into place, and draw walls, entrances, restrooms and labels.
Reservation bookings
See booked tables and guest counts for each month, add or edit bookings yourself, and cancel with a refund or give a partial refund.
Take orders on the POS
Ring up dine-in, pick-up and delivery orders (and drive-thru when it's on) from the Make Order tab: choose a table or a pickup time, add items with their modifiers, seats and hold times, attach the customer or loyalty member, then send it to the kitchen.
Split and merge checks
Split an open in-store check evenly, by item or seat, or by dollar amount, then pay each check on its own. Merge checks back together, move part of a table to its own order, or combine two tables' orders.
- Tables are colored by status: purple seated, light blue booked, gray open. A seated table shows how long the party has been there. Tap a table or list row to open its order.
- The list is filtered by Seated, Booked, Done and CXL (canceled) with counts, and can be sorted by table or time. Each row shows the order number, guest, phone, time, server (green if it's yours), table and party size.
- Swipe a row to mark it Done (clears the table), Cancel a booking, or Reopen a done or canceled one.
- Seating a dine-in order on Make Order fills the table automatically. + Reservation books a table ahead of time with name, phone, time, party size and a note.
- Online bookings appear in a Booked section with the booked item, prepaid amount and any refund. Swipe Assign to give the booking a table.
- + Waitlist adds a walk-in party; see the waitlist entry for texting and charges.
- To move a party to another table, open the order and use Edit › Edit Table, Time, Type. To merge orders or split the check, use Split on the order.
- Layout (manager approval) lets you add tables with an ID, seat range and room, drag them into place and change their shape on the iPad. For bigger changes use the floor plan in the back office.
